At the end of this course, you’ll have the foundational knowledge of GS1 Standards for the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA)* that - when applied correctly - can help lead to full interoperability, including how to:

  • Create Global Trade Item Numbers (GTINs), Global Location Numbers (GLNs) and Serial Shipping Container Codes (SSCCs) to uniquely identify products, locations, and logistic units
  • Use Application Identifiers (AIs) to help ensure your products are accepted by trading partners
  • Capture event information as your product moves through the supply chain with Electronic Product Code Information Services (EPCIS)
